Every apparel company will tell you that they’re an ethical supplier, but this usually just means that they meet the legal minimum requirements in the countries they are producing. With our conscious clothing we don’t just meet the minimum legal requirements, we exceed them, lifting the bar for the entire industry.
Our business model is based on fair treatment. Openness, honesty and transparency are incorporated into everything we do, at all stages of production. For us, this includes fair treatment for our farmers, factory workers, our own team and our customers.
Unlike many of our competitors which set the minimum working age at 14, ours is 18. Before the pandemic, our NZ team visited each factory at least once a year. Each factory is regularly audited against a high bar of social and sustainability criteria, and to ensure the highest standard of safety is adhered to.
